Technical Capabilities
Seonghwa Technical Research Institute is engaged in the development of new products based on product design and manufacturing
technology to secure technological capabilities for plant piping and structures.
To automate the work of designers, we have been developing and operating our own in-house 3D design automation program.
We continuously strive to lead the ever-changing plant industry with our efforts.
Product Development
Seonghwa Industrial has successfully localized snubbers, one of piping support products for the first time in Korea.
The Snubber accommodates static loads but restricts the movement of piping under dynamic loads. Seonghwa's product has the following features:
- Load Range: 0.6~60.0 ton
- Stroke Range: 100~450 mm
Distinctiveness
During dynamic loads, snubbers block fluid through an internal valve structure.
After dynamic load action, the blocked fluid can move again through the bleed hole.
Design Technology
Seonghwa ensures the structural stability of the products by performing design verification through pipe analysis, steel structure analysis, and structural analysis to meet international standard requirements for piping, pipe hangers & supports, and steel structures.
3D Technology
Seonghwa has developed and operated add-on and standalone softwares for plant 3D CAD programs to simplify the design process.
The developed softwares significantly reduce the time required for designing pipe hangers & supports and the occurrence of design errors.
